It should be noted at this point that When Day Breaks was originally an entry for the 3000 Horror contest, and I'm pretty sure it would have won had it not been taken down suddenly for mysterious reasons.ĭr. But then you get to the first version of the SCP file, and the truth is - in a word - horrific. This builds the tension, raising more questions about what exactly has happened in this dark scenario.
